Quick facts on becoming a facilitator:
- No topic is off limits! We try to curate our course catalog to appeal to a wide array of interests
- Facilitators receive one-on-one training with a member of the Academy staff and in person assistance with their first class
- Facilitators are able to use various presentation techniques through the software including PowerPoint presentations, video and photos
- There are opportunities to teach a one time class or series
- Classes are offered Monday-Friday with an emphasis on the hours between 10:00am-3:00pm
- Becoming a Virtual Senior Academy facilitator is done on a voluntary basis and is unpaid

Do you want to share your passion and knowledge with other Pittsburghers? Then become a Virtual Senior Academy facilitator! We’re looking for community members of all ages who want to lead one-time or ongoing classes on a variety of subjects— health and wellness, arts and music, book clubs, history, current events, and much more.
